Supermarket DSi Price Wars!

Never mind the staples like bread or butter, this year’s supermarket price wars looks like its going to be over the Nintendo DSi console.
Whilst traditional game retailers such as Play and Gamestation offer the best DSI bundles the supermarkets are really keen to lower the headline price on the standalone console, with Tesco providing the opening salvo, offering the DSi to pre-order for just £144.97.
Tesco are justifiably proud of this price, which they boldly exclaim is the market leading price “and cheaper than ASDA!”. Ouch!
It’s not going to be pretty out there, and expect ASDA to at least match this before the DSi is released. Amazon already have, as can be seen on our best price for the DSi price comparison page.
Of course, the good thing is that the winner in these wars will be us prospective owners. Whoever said war was all bad?
So – have you decided which retailer will get your wedge of DSi money yet? Do you know of an even better DSi deal?
If so, feel free to leave a comment below.
